Ducky Bhai, who was arrested on August 17, spent nearly three months in custody. The case was lodged by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) after an inquiry earlier this year found that several digital content creators were encouraging the public to use gambling apps for personal financial gain.
Ducky Bhai, released earlier in November, has remained in isolation since his release, with no public appearances or social media posts. Concerns about his mental health and well-being have been shared by his family, friends, and business partners, including popular YouTuber Iqra Kanwal and her husband Areeb.
Iqra and Areeb revealed the struggles they faced while supporting Ducky Bhai, stating, “No one actually knows what he went through; spending hundreds of days in jail is not easy at all.”
They also mentioned contacting Aroob, Ducky’s wife, for a meeting with him, but were informed that he “needs some time; he is still not ready to face the world.”
The couple emphasised that they have been continuously supporting Ducky Bhai behind the scenes, even though they did not publicly share their support on social media. They added that when the time is right, Ducky Bhai himself will reveal who stood by him during his difficult days.
