Dur-e-Fishan says people started searching for her "hot pics" on Google after Ishq Murshid

Pakistani actress Dur-e-Fishan Saleem has spoken out against the objectification of women in society after discovering that people were searching for her "hot pics" online following her drama Ishq Murshid.

In a viral video clip from a recent program, Dur-e-Fishan expressed frustration that despite the success of her drama, people were more interested in searching for her never-existed explicit content online.

"[...] I watched a video in which it was shown that people were searching for Ishq Murshid on Google but for that, they were searching for 'Dur-e-Fishan Hot'," the actress revealed.

"So to be honest the men in this country would be seeing a powerful girl only if she is coming of ours presentable for them on the screen so that's about it. Having said that we do have men like Kashif Nisar, we do have many men like my father, my brother, people I'm connected with, people in the industry who are very progressive about women in the country," the Khaie star added.

However, she also credited men for supporting and motivating women to grow in Pakistan.

"All the females that grow that you see are mostly made by men... so there is a sense of men who are doing really well but there will always be some part of our society that would only be searching for my hot," the actress concluded.
