Renowned YouTuber Rajab Butt experienced an unfortunate mishap during his birthday celebration with family when gas balloons exploded, causing minor injuries to his friends present at the occassion.
The celebration took place late on December 28, when Butt’s family surprised him while he was live on TikTok. Overwhelmed by the gesture, he was greeted with balloons, cakes, and flowers on his special day.
The incident was recorded live on TikTok and quickly went viral on social media. In the video, Rajab’s family can be seen gathered in a room, with Butt seated on a sofa preparing to cut the cake. Gas balloons hovered above him as part of the decorations.
However, just as he was about to cut the cake, a sudden explosion occurred, likely caused by fire coming into contact with the gas balloons. A blaze erupted, momentarily filling the room with flames.
Rajab Butt has not addressed the incident on his social media platforms, nor has his family shared any official footage of the event. Nevertheless, the video was saved by various social media pages and circulated widely online.
Reports suggest that some of Rajab’s friends sustained minor burns, with one individual in the video appearing to have a reddened face after the blast.
This incident comes shortly after Rajab Butt’s extravagant wedding, which garnered significant attention on social media but also sparked controversies.
The day after his wedding, on December 15, he was briefly detained for keeping a lion cub and displaying weapons without a license during the festivities. He was later released by authorities.
More recently, Butt faced backlash after an old viral video allegedly showed him disrespecting namaz (prayer). Advocate Mian Bilal from Lahore demanded an apology and announced to take legal action against him.
In response to the controversy, Rajab Butt issued a public apology and recorded a video with Islamic scholars from various sects, who clarified that he had not desecrated the prayer.
