In a new development surrounding actress Humaira Asghar, her landlord has publicly shared his account of a long-standing legal dispute over a rented apartment.
The landlord stated that Humaira first moved into the apartment in 2018 under a rental agreement that expired in 2019.
However, she allegedly did not confirm whether she wished to renew the agreement or vacate the premises.
He further claimed that multiple complaints had been received over the years, alleging disturbances and disputes involving the actress. Upon requesting her to vacate the property, she reportedly refused.
“In 2021, we filed a formal case with the Cantonment Board Clifton (CBC),” the landlord revealed. “Legal notices were dispatched to both Lahore and Karachi addresses, but we received no response.”

He noted that the court eventually ruled in their favor, confirming the landlord’s right to reclaim the property. Despite this legal decision and multiple follow-up notices, the apartment was never vacated.
According to the landlord, the last rent payment was received in May 2024, after which no further payments were made.
This statement adds a significant perspective to the ongoing dispute, which has now entered the public domain amid rising scrutiny.
