Jugnu Mohsin unimpressed by son Ali Sethi’s viral song ‘Pasoori’

Renowned Pakistani politician and journalist Jugnu Mohsin recently revealed that she is not a fan of her son Ali Sethi’s chart-topping song Pasoori due to her preference for old-school music.

Jugnu mentioned that Ali was already aware of her opinion, because she likes conventional music, stating, “When his song received billions of hits, he said, ‘I know, Mom, you don’t like that song."

Sharing her response to Ali, she said, “I replied, I don’t like it because I prefer conventional classic songs, ghazals, old music, and the traditional style of singing."

Jugnu Mohsin also shared some of her favorite ghazals, including Ranjish Hi Sahi and Gulon Mein Rang Bhare, Baad-e-Nau Bahar Chale.

Interestingly, Jugnu disclosed that her love for music love predates Ali Sethi's birth, perhaps sowing the seeds for his eventual career as a musician.
