Iqra Aziz announces second pregnancy in heartwarming Instagram post

Renowned actress Iqra Aziz has revealed that she and her husband, Yasir Hussain, are expecting their second child. 

Sharing the delightful news with her fans on Instagram, she wrote, “Happily and chaotically, we are growing to be four,” expressing joy as their family expands. 

The couple, who already share a son, received an outpouring of love and congratulations from fans and fellow celebrities.

Earlier, Yasir Hussain opined that there should be a gap of at least three years between the birth of each child.

As the discussion turned to women stepping aside from their careers to raise kids, the 'Kukri' actor observed, "Many women have achieved fame and success even after having children.”

“Children shouldn't be a barrier to one's work. If someone has talent, they will continue to pursue their career. Actresses like Ayeza Khan, Mahira Khan, and the legendary Madam Noor Jehan continued to achieve great success after giving birth,” he added. 

He said that couples with ample resources can have larger families, but emphasised that the ultimate decision on having children should always lie with the women.

Actor Iqra Aziz and Yasir Hussain tied the knot in December 2018 and welcomed their son Kabir Hussain on July 1, 2021.
