"People think I look like Anushka Sharma," says Kiran Malik

Model and actress Kiran Malik has said that people often tell her she looks like Bollywood diva Anushka Sharma. 

Malik made the comment during a recent appearance on Dawn News' program "Aap ki Kahani with Deepak Perwani".

During the interview, the model also shared her experience of being cast as the lead actress in Shaan Shahid's film Zarrar.

She claimed that people questioned her casting, saying that she only "landed the role because of her personal connections with Shahid".

"People also alleged that Kiran Malik and Shaan Shahid met in a coffee cafe, where Shaan liked Kiran and then he cast her for the lead role," she revealed.

The Money Back Guarantee actor also opened up about past relationships that had caused her difficulties.

In the interview, the Pinky Memsaab star said that she got a chance to meet Bollywood actresses Kareena Kapoor and Deepika Padukone in Dubai.

"Kareena Kapoor has no frills, she is a simple person, a woman who respects and honours. Deepika Padukone is not arrogant despite being highly stylish," she said.

When asked about her resemblance to Anushka Sharma, Malik said that many people tell her she looks like the Band Baaja Baaraat star.

"Everyone always tells me that I look like her [Anushka]," she said, with the host agreeing that the resemblance is striking.
