Saif Ali Khan buys luxurious property in Qatar just months after knife attack

After his ancestral Pataudi Palace and his upscale Bandra apartment, Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan has made another impressive addition to his real estate portfolio, this time acquiring an extravagant residence abroad. Saif has invested in a premium property at the St. Regis Marsa Arabia Island in Qatar.

At a press event organised by the Alfardan Group, Saif spoke about his reasons for selecting this prime location, stating, “When I think of a holiday home or a second home, these are a few things I consider. It’s easily accessible, it’s very safe, and it feels very good to be there.”

The actor also praised the property’s design, saying, “The concept of an island within an island is very luxurious and beautiful it self,” which inspired him to add this property to his assets. 

He shared that he first stayed at the property while shooting in Qatar and was drawn to its blend of privacy and elegance. “I thought it was amazing, and there was something about the mixture of privacy and luxury that I liked,” said Saif, reflecting on his decision to acquire this real estate.

After surviving a near-fatal attack earlier this year, with a new home in Qatar and a slew of projects lined up, Saif is all set to make a powerful comeback with Netflix’s upcoming thriller Jewel Thief: The Heist Begins, bringing action and intrigue to the screen starting April 25.

Earlier, on Jan 2025, the bollywood actor had been rushed to the hospital after sustaining multiple stab wounds during a burglary attempt at his home in Mumbai’s Bandra, according to Indian media reports.

Khan had undergone surgeries and medical treatment at the hospital for weeks.
