A family seated behind him appears visibly uncomfortable, with a woman seen attempting to hide her face and turn away from the camera.

The clip prompted widespread backlash online, with many users accusing Butt of irresponsible behaviour and disregarding the privacy of others.

Punjab Assembly member Hina Parvez Butt strongly criticised the incident in a post on X, describing the conduct as “deeply shameful”. She said some individuals show neither awareness nor respect, filming wherever they please without considering the impact on families around them.

She also expressed concern that such figures continue to be admired by sections of the public despite their actions.

The controversy comes amid ongoing scrutiny of Rajab Butt, who has remained in the headlines due to various legal and personal matters. His private life has also attracted attention, particularly following his marriage to Iman Fatima in 2024 and their subsequent separation in 2026. The couple welcomed a son, Kiwan Sultan, in September 2025, while Butt confirmed their divorce in March 2026.
