“That little boy is on my mind 24/7:” Hamza Ali Abbasi on fatherhood

Renowned actor Hamza Ali Abbasi recently opened up about his life after becoming a father, describing the experience as one of the most intensely emotional moments of his life. He admitted that he is completely obsessed with his son.

In a recent interview, Hamza was asked about the changes he experienced in his inner self following the birth of his child.

“Becoming a father is the most intense experience of my life,” he shared. “That little boy is on my mind 24/7.”

Hamza further revealed that fatherhood has given him a deeper understanding of his parents' love and care for him.

He reflected on his own parents’ sacrifices and how they constantly worried about the well-being of their children. Now, he finds himself in a similar mindset, frequently contemplating his son’s present and future.

During the interview, Hamza also spoke about his personal priorities, candidly sharing that his focus remains on "preparing for the Day of Judgment." He spends most of his time learning about religion and strengthening his relationship with God.

Although he values his career, Hamza emphasised that it is not his primary obsession, as he feels blessed with all the necessities of life. This has allowed him to dedicate more time to religious learning rather than solely focusing on earning money.

He stressed that while taking care of one’s family and earning a livelihood is crucial, dedicating time to nurturing one’s relationship with God is equally important.

He added that building religious knowledge and strengthening one’s connection with Allah helps prepare for life after death.
