Veteran actress Shagufta Ejaz's husband dies of cancer

Renowned Pakistani actress Shagufta Ejaz's husband, Yahya Siddiqui, passed away on Thursday after losing a 5-year-long battle with cancer.

The actress took to Instagram to share the sad news with her fans, posting a picture of her late husband. 

"My husband Yahya Siddiqui has passed away," she wrote in the caption.

Ejaz also requested her fans to pray for the forgiveness of the departed soul.

"Kindly recite surah Fatiha for his maghfirat."

Yahya Siddiqui had been battling cancer for five years and was under treatment in the hospital for several days. 

Recently, Shagufta Ejaz celebrated their marriage anniversary with him at the hospital, cherishing their time together despite his ailing health.

This was Shagufta's second marriage and they had two daughters together.
