Yasir Nawaz reveals he was once caught red-handed by police while dating a girl

Renowned producer Yasir Nawaz recounted a memorable incident from his student days, before marriage, when he was caught by the police with a girl.

The actor recently appeared on a morning show on Samaa TV, hosted by Madeeha Naqvi, with his siblings, where he shared his past anecdotes.

However, before narrating the story, Yasir Nawaz expressed his fear of his wife Nida Yasir's reaction.

"If Nida hears this story, she will be angry with me," he said.

"I had taken my father's car out and was driving around with the girl and we stopped at a place. Shortly after, the police arrived, I was terrified. My hands and feet were shaking, and I couldn't even answer properly."

According to Yasir, the police repeatedly questioned them, asking who "they were and what they were doing".

"They were about to take me to the police station," Yasir Nawaz revealed. "But my father saved me."

"I called my father. He talked to the policemen and introduced himself [to the cops] and saved me from the situation."

Yasir said police first showed "resistance that a boy and girl were dating in an Islamic country", however, later they pardoned Yasir and his girlfriend.

It's pertinent to mention here that Yasir Nawaz is the son of renowned legendary actor Farid Nawaz.
