Earlier, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi issued a stern warning, stating that the government is unafraid of any threats and will arrest anyone attempting to head to Islamabad for the protest.
Addressing a press conference in the federal capital, Naqvi claimed that mobile phone services were not suspended in Islamabad, while cellular data has been interrupted due to security concerns.
“We want minimal inconvenience to the residents of Islamabad, but the foreign delegation is scheduled to arrive in Islamabad soon,” he said.
