Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) supporters flooded social media with disturbing videos allegedly showing violent acts committed against protesters during a security operation in Islamabad on November 26.
The footages depict injured protesters, some in critical condition, and others reportedly dead on the spot due to alleged gunfire.
The killings sparked outrage among PTI supporters, who are demanding justice and calling on party leadership to take action against what they describe as 'brutality' by law enforcement.
Earlier, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) senior leader Zulfi Bukhari accused Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and security agencies of hiding at least 40 dead bodies of the protesters who were allegedly killed during a clampdown by law enforcement in Islamabad on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, several international media outlets, including BBC and The Guardian, have reported firsthand accounts from medics who were on duty at Islamabad hospitals during the operation.
These reports highlighted the human toll of the crackdown, with doctors alleging that government authorities seized medical records of injured and deceased protesters.
Eyewitness medics recounted treating numerous patients with gunshot wounds and reported seeing several bodies in hospital morgues.
One of the videos cirucalting on X allegedly showed the mortuary of Polyclinic Hospital, where four to five bodies of protesters could be seen.
However, Polyclinic Hospital denied these claims, labeling reports of dead bodies arriving after the protests as "fake."
Numerous videos continue to surface on social media, depicting protesters lying on streets with severe injuries while others attempt to rescue them. Some footages allegedly showed security forces firing directly at civilians.
