Afzal Khan Marwat disregards police's signal to pull over a checkpost

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf senior vice president Afzal Khan Marwat ignored the police's signal to stop the vehicle at a picket in KP.

In the video, Sher Afzal Marwat can be seen traveling in a car with his driver. Khan's counsel said to his lawyer not to stop the vehicle after a policeman asked him to stop at a picket.

Marwat recently made headlines after he said the incarcerated PTI chairman Imran Khan has decided against contesting intra-party elections for chairman slot and named Barrister Gohar for the post. Marwat is named in several cases and currently is on bail.

Earlier this week, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) granted protective bail to PTI Senior Vice President Sher Afzal Marwat in two cases registered against him in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The court also stopped the police from arresting the lawyer.

Marwat has been granted protective bail for 15 days. He has been ordered to appear in the court concerned in Dir district within 15 days.

Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani of the Islamabad High Court issued the bail orders.

Marwat appeared in the court along with his lawyer Naveed Hayat Malik.
