Authorities have announced a traffic management plan for the Al-Quds Day rally in Karachi, scheduled for Friday, 27th Ramadan.

The rally, organised by religious groups including Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, will begin at Numaish and proceed toward Tibet Centre after Juma prayers.

To facilitate smooth traffic flow, the Karachi Traffic Police has issued alternative route guidelines. Commuters are advised to avoid M.A. Jinnah Road and use designated detours.

Traffic from Teen Hatti and Lasbela will be redirected via Soldier Bazaar, while vehicles from Preedy Street will be rerouted through Peoples Chowrangi.

Similar diversions will be in place for traffic coming from Garden, Lucky Star, and Coast Guard areas.

Meanwhile, Al-Quds Day will be observed nationwide, with rallies planned in Rawalpindi, Islamabad, and other cities.

Authorities have implemented strict security measures, including heavy police deployment and monitoring of key entry and exit points.

The Karachi Traffic Police has urged citizens to cooperate and follow alternative routes for a smooth flow of traffic during the event.
