Aleema Khan has rejected the government’s move to form a medical board for treatment of PTI founder Imran Khan, insisting that any treatment must take place only in the presence and with the approval of his personal doctors and family.
In a post on X, she said that the family has learned from media reports that Imran Khan might be shifted to Al-Shifa Eye Hospital in Rawalpindi. She stressed that the family does not accept any government-formed medical board.
“Our demand has been clear from the beginning,” she wrote, adding that the family would not accept any medical treatment carried out without oversight from his own physicians.
Aleema Khan also expressed concern over what she described as resistance to the specialists recommended by Imran Khan’s personal doctors. She questioned why authorities were rejecting both their supervision and the presence of family members.
The family, she said, is “extremely worried” and asked whether anything was being concealed.

"We do NOT accept any medical board they set up and control! We do NOT accept any reports or results they manufacture," she wrote.
"Our family is getting extremely worried as to why they are resisting the selection of specialists advised by Imran Khan’s personal doctors. Why are they rejecting the supervision by Imran Khan’s personal doctors?
"Why are they rejecting the presence of Imran Khan’s family members? Why such fierce resistance? Are they hiding something?"
