While the Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen's protest have ended, Ahl-e-Sunnat wal Jamaat cotinues its demonstrations at ten locations in Karachi.

Following a crackdown against protesters on Tuesday, the Sindh government offered an alternate location to MWM to hold their protest.

Meanwhile, a peace agreement signed by the Grand Jirga on Wednesday led to the conclusion of the sit-ins after eight consecutive days.

However, ASWJ did not end its demonstrations and continues to stage protests in the city, demanding military operations in Parachinar to eliminate militants and restore peace.

ASWJ is currently staging protests at ten locations in the city, but traffic flow continued.

According to the traffic police, protesters are positioned at the edges of the routes, ensuring the roads remain clear for vehicles.

ASWJ workers are protesting at Lasbela Chowk, Nagan Chowrangi, Orangi Town (Sector 5), Sher Shah Chowk, Tower, Burns Road, Qayyumabad, Korangi No. 5, Quaidabad, and Liaquatabad.

Meantime, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah condemned the violence during protests in the metropolis, particularly the arson attacks on vehicles and public property.

The CM emphasised that such acts of vandalism are unacceptable and will not be tolerated. While recognising the right to peaceful protest, he directed law enforcement agencies to take strict action against those resonsible for the violence.
