Another American woman arrived in Pakistan to marry her online partner in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, after the couple met on a social media platform.
Sajid Ali, 32, a resident of the Upper Dir district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, claimed that a 42-year-old American woman named Mindy, who works as a flight attendant, travelled from Illinois (Chicago) to Pakistan to marry him after they became friends online.
He also shared a video from the airport, showing him receiving Mindy, who wore a shawl on her head and appeared happy as Sajid presented her with a bouquet.
Speaking to the media, Sajid stated that they had been in an online relationship for two years before Mindy eventually proposed marriage.

In a video statement, Mindy said, “My name is Mindy and I'm from America. I'm here in Pakistan for the first time. It's a very beautiful, peaceful country. I came for Sajid Khan, and we plan to marry soon."
Earlier, after forming a friendship on social media, a 27-year-old American woman, Kerinsha Madison Grace, a resident of South Carolina, also arrived in Pakistan. She had been friends with 29-year-old Naeemul Hassan from Jhang through social media for two years.
