Application process and fee collection mechanism finalized for Hajj 2027

According to sources in the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the submission of applications for the government Hajj scheme will begin in the third week of August. Overseas Pakistanis will also be eligible to apply.

Sources in the Ministry of Religious Affairs said that Hajj expenses will be collected in two equal installments.

Applicants will be required to pay half of the amount in the first installment, with the remaining amount payable in the second installment. The submission of further applications will be stopped once the allocated quota is filled.

The total Hajj quota for 2027 has been set at 179,210 pilgrims. Sixty percent of the quota has been allocated to the government Hajj scheme, while 40 percent has been allocated to the private Hajj scheme.
