Armed forces eliminated 925 terrorists in 59,775 operations in 2024

Pakistani Armed Forces eliminated 925 terrorists in at least 59,775 operations in the year 2024, which underscores their unwavering commitment to national security and region-wide peace. 

Under the clear national policy, the security forces garnered attention-worthy achievement against khawarij and terrorists in the ongoing year, according to the press release. 

It stated that law enforcement agencies conducted intelligence-based operations. At least 169 operations were conducted regularly, of which as many as 73 were extremely wanted. 

Moreover, with the excellent strategy of state institutions, 14 wanted terrorists surrendered and joined the mainstream, two suicide bombers were arrested, and the country was saved from a major disaster.

The sources said that in view of a clear state policy, vigorous action was taken against smuggling, electricity theft, extortion, and hoarders this year, resulting in successful operations to curb illegal activities, and a clear reduction has been seen in these ill practices.

Pakistan made significant strides in 2024 with the assistance of military diplomacy. The country's relations with key nations, including Azerbaijan, Belarus, China, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia, strengthened through high-level visits and strategic dialogue. This diplomatic push also led to increased foreign investment, boosting Pakistan's economy.
