The Chief of Staff of the People’s Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF), Lieutenant General Wang Gang, praised the operational performance of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) during its conflict with India and expressed a strong interest in learning from Pakistan’s experience in multi-domain operations.

According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Tuesday, General Wang Gang met with Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu, at the Air Headquarters in Islamabad.

The Chinese official lauded the PAF’s high level of professionalism, operational preparedness, and state-of-the-art capabilities. He was particularly impressed by the PAF’s effective integration of multi-domain operations, calling it a hallmark of modern air warfare.

“He expressed deep appreciation for the Pakistan Air Force’s high state of operational readiness and cutting-edge capabilities,” the ISPR statement noted.

General Wang paid tribute to what he described as the “exemplary performance” of the Pakistan Air Force during the recent India-Pakistan conflict, and conveyed the PLAAF’s interest in learning from the PAF’s battle-tested experience in complex operational environments.

Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu reaffirmed the deep-rooted and time-tested bond between the two air forces and reiterated the PAF’s commitment to strengthening cooperation in training, technology, and operational domains.

According to ISPR, the meeting aimed to further advance the strategic partnership between China and Pakistan, with both sides agreeing to enhance defense collaboration, adapt to modern warfare requirements, and promote regional peace and stability through technological exchange and joint efforts.
