Cold conditions have intensified in Karachi due to the inflow of chilly winds from Balochistan, with further drops in temperature expected in the coming days, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) said.
According to the PMD, the weather in the port city is likely to remain cold and dry over the next 24 hours. The minimum temperature recorded on Wednesday was 12.3 degrees Celsius.
Forecasters said the minimum temperature in Karachi is expected to range between 10 and 12 degrees Celsius on Thursday, as cold northerly winds continue to affect the region.
The Met Office advised residents to take precautions against the cold, particularly during the early morning and night hours, as temperatures may continue to decline slightly.
