Court extends pre-arrest bail of Mir Raza's business partner until Sept 12

A sessions court in Karachi on Tuesday extended interim pre-arrest bail of Mir Raza’s business partner Ahmed and his brother Abdullah in the murder case until September 12.

The hearing was held before the Additional District and Sessions Judge (East). The investigating officer and lawyers for the applicants appeared before the court.

Advocate Daniyal Muhammad Hussain informed the court that the victim’s family and senior counsel, Jibran Nasir, were busy before the judicial commission in the Sindh High Court.

The court observed that the date for submission of the interim charge sheet is September 7 and said further proceedings would be taken up after the charge-sheet is submitted.

The applicants’ lawyer, Khalid Mumtaz, said he had no objection.

The court subsequently adjourned the hearing without further proceedings until September 12.
