Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan’s spouse Bushra Bibi addressed party workers on Monday while en route to Islamabad with her caravan.
Bushra Bibi emphasised that the march would continue until Imran Khan is released from prison and stated she would remain with the protest until that goal is achieved.
“Don’t stop the march until Imran Khan is released,” she urged.
“I will stand here until my last breath. You must support me, and even if no one else does, I will remain here alone,” she added.
She maintained that the protest was not only for her husband but for “the leader of this country.”
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan’s spouse Bushra Bibi departed from Peshawar with Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur’s caravan to participate in a protest in Islamabad.
Earlier, it was reported that Bushra Bibi would not participate in the protest due to health issues.
According to PTI leaders, Ali Amin Gandapur is leading the convoy, with Bushra Bibi following in another vehicle.
In response to the PTI protests, the government has taken strict measures, closing roads leading to Islamabad and erecting barricades on major routes.
PTI leaders have claimed that 490 party workers and leaders have been arrested across Punjab, with over 100 individuals still missing.
