As a result of operations carried out on November 19 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Kurram district, at least 23 Indian-sponsored terrorists from Fitna-al-Khawarij were killed in separate operations.

The military’s media wing reported that during targeted operations based on intelligence about militant activity, 12 terrorists were eliminated following a fierce firefight.

The ISPR stated that efforts are being conducted at full pace to eliminate the threat of foreign proxy terrorism.

“Capitalizing on intelligence regarding the presence of another group of Khawarij in the same general area, in another intelligence-based operation, our troops successfully neutralized 11 more,” the ISPR added.

Operations are ongoing to eliminate terrorists in the area. The military media wing also confirmed that Pakistan will continue such operations under Azm-e-Istehkam, as approved by the federal apex committee on the National Action Plan, carried out by security forces and law enforcement agencies.

This development follows a series of nationwide anti-terrorism operations by security forces, which have led to the killing of dozens of terrorists in recent days.
