ECP bars ROs from issuing results of 20 constituencies

As the controversy surrounds the election results, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) stopped the announcement of the final results of 11 National Assembly and 9 Punjab Assembly constituencies.
The electoral body took up dozens of petitions, challenging the results of elections.
The ECP stopped the authorities from announcing the final results of NA-56, NA-53, NA-60, NA-69, NA-57, NA-52, NA-126, NA-27, and NA-87, constituencies of Rawalpindi, Jehlum, Mandi Bahaddin, and Khushab.
After objections from the candidates and the matter being taken to court, the commissioned paused returning officer to issue final results of PP-4 in Attock, PP-7 and PP-6 in Murree, PP-15 and PP-17 and PP12 in Rawalpindi, PP-53 in Sialkot, PP-121 of Toba Tek Singh, PP-279 in Layyah, and PP-133 of Nankana Sahib.
