The Directorate General of Immigration and Passports has announced a major expansion of its Fast Track passport service, aimed at providing quicker processing for citizens across the country.

Initially launched in seven cities—Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, and Quetta—the service has now been extended to 47 locations following a recent expansion.

A total of 26 new cities have been added to the Fast Track network, including Attock, Haripur, Chakwal, Batkhela, Sargodha, Swabi, Bhalwal, Nowshera, Hafizabad, Karak, Mianwali, Mansehra, Bhakar, Muzaffarabad, Kohat, Mirpur (AJK), DI Khan, Bagh, Swat, Rawalakot (Pooneh), Abbottabad, Kotli, Bannu, Sudhanoti, Hangu, and Bhimber.

The move is designed to streamline passport processing and reduce wait times for applicants in these newly included areas. The Directorate General has instructed all zonal heads to ensure that the expansion is carried out swiftly and efficiently.

Additionally, the Director (Databases) has been tasked with updating the Passport Processing System (PPS) to integrate these cities into the Fast Track service.

A formal notification, issued by Assistant Director (Policy-I) Hafiz Abdul Nasir, has been distributed to key authorities, including the Director General of Pakistan Post, to ensure full awareness and proper implementation of the new Fast Track locations.
