Four dead, several injured in overspeeding accident on Karachi’s Hawksbay Road

Four people, including a woman and two young girls, lost their lives in a devastating car accident on Karachi’s Hawksbay Road, reportedly caused by overspeeding.
According to police and rescue officials, the vehicle was returning from a trip to the seaside when the driver apparently lost control while taking a turn.
The car veered off course and slammed into the wall of a nearby drain, leaving people inside the car with critical injuries.
Among the injured are 20-year-old Zain, son of Yousuf, 4-year-old Hussain, and 8-year-old Fatima. The identity of one of the injured victims has not yet been confirmed. All injured individuals were rushed to the Civil Hospital for emergency medical treatment.

Police confirmed that all victims were traveling in the same car, which was carrying a total of eight passengers, including children.
As per initial reports, the accident may have occurred due to the driver falling asleep or losing control of the vehicle due to high speed. The car sustained extensive damage in the crash.
Speaking to the media, Dr Abdul Razzaq, in charge of the Civil Hospital Trauma Center, stated that the victims were part of a family from Punjab who had been returning from a picnic at Hawksbay.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident to determine the exact cause of the accident.
