Groom goes missing in Karachi on wedding day, family suspects kidnapping

A wedding in Madinah Colony in Karachi's Korangi area turned into shock and grief when the groom, identified as Jahanzeb, mysteriously went missing on his wedding day. As per reports, he vanished after leaving home for a nearby salon.

According to his family, Jahanzeb left at around 5 pm to prepare for his wedding event but never returned. His mobile phone was left behind at home, raising further suspicion.

The incident was reported to Zaman Town Police Station by his brother, Waseem, who fears Jahanzeb may have been kidnapped.

“Jahanzeb was very excited about his wedding. He works in a private factory and had no known disputes,” Waseem told police.

Police officials confirmed that a missing person’s complaint has been registered and that they are investigating the matter from multiple angles. SHO Nafees-ur-Rehman said the police are in touch with the family and efforts are underway to trace the missing groom.
