TikToker Hakeem Babar was hospitalised after allegedly being served a toxic substance in a drink in Sambrial, Punjab.

According to an FIR, Hakeem Babar travelled to Kotli Khokharan during the Eidul Azha holidays, where two people allegedly offered him a drink. Shortly afterwards, his health reportedly deteriorated.

He was shifted to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital in Sambrial for treatment. The police said that a case has been registered against the suspects and that Hakeem is now out of danger.

Hakeem Babar alleged that the suspects targeted him out of jealousy over his popularity on TikTok.

However, officials at the hospital said that preliminary medical examinations found no evidence of poisoning. According to the hospital administration, Hakeem Babar has since been discharged, while samples have been sent to a forensic laboratory for further analysis.
