Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, his wife Bushra Bibi, and 75 party leaders have been booked under terrorism and 16 other charges at Rawalpindi's police stations.

Police also named several senior party figures, including former President Dr Arif Alvi, Aleema Khan, Ali Amin Gandapur, Omar Ayub, Sheharyar Riaz, Hammad Azhar, and Asad Qaiser.

According to the First Information Report (FIR), prominent PTI leaders met Imran Khan at Adiala Jail on November 22, where he allegedly incited them to advance toward Islamabad. Bushra Bibi’s statement, shared on social media, also reportedly provoked supporters further.

Imran Khan and his wife have also been accused of leading a crowd that blocked roads, disrupted public order, and attacked police vehicles by pelting stones and assaulting officers with clubs.

The FIR mentions that 75 PTI leaders were charged with offenses including terrorism, attempted murder, and violations under 16 other sections of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).

The complaint further alleged that on Wednesday at 7:30 am, PTI workers chanted provocative slogans at the Faizabad checkpoint, burned tires to block the road, and attacked police with sticks and stones.

In Noshirwan, protesters reportedly tore Constable Junaid’s shirt, snatched wireless devices from officers, and opened fire on the police party, with two bullets hitting a police vehicle.

Police used tear gas to disperse the crowd and subsequently arrested 77 PTI workers. Authorities claimed to have recovered a wireless set, tear gas shells, sticks, glass balls, and ghulails (slingshots) from the detained protesters.

The FIR also stated that three vehicles used by the protesters were confiscated during the operation.
