Imran Khan to undergo lie-detector test today in May 9 riots cases

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan will undergo a polygraph ( lie-detector) test in Adiala Jail today (July 23) as part of the ongoing investigation into the May 9 cases filed against him in Lahore.
A 12-member investigation team from Lahore Police, led by DSP Javed Asif, arrived at Rawalpindi prison to investigate the former prime minister.
During the probe, the 72-year-old politician will undergo polygraph, voice matching and photogrammetry tests.
A day earlier, Mr Khan denied meeting the law enforcers, saying he will only become part of investigations in the presence of his lawyers.
Later, the anti-terrorism court in the provincial capital approved Imran Khan's physical remand until July 25.
On the other hand, the veteran politician and his wife Bushra Bibi's physical remand in a news Toshakhana case was also extended for seven days.
Imran Khan faces a total of 12 cases, with 9 of them being investigated by the Lahore Police team.
