Reports circulating in Indian media claiming that Pakistan has deployed 20,000 troops to Gaza have been dismissed as false and baseless by official sources.

According to sources, the report published by an Indian magazine contained fabricated and misleading claims, including references to alleged intelligence leaks that do not exist.

They clarified that neither the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) nor the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has ever confirmed, announced, or supported any military deployment to Gaza.

The sources further stated that Pakistan’s position on the Palestinian issue remains “clear, consistent, and based on principles,” emphasising the country's continued support for the right to self-determination of the Palestinian people.

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting also rejected the Indian report, saying that Pakistan has never recognised Israel and that there has been no discussion or decision regarding any form of military deployment.

Earlier, Indian and Israeli media outlets had speculated about the possible inclusion of Pakistani forces in an international peacekeeping mission in Gaza, a claim now firmly denied by Pakistani authorities.
