Islamabad traffic advisory issued amid US-Iran talks

The Islamabad Traffic Police has issued a traffic advisory citing strict security arrangements due to the movement of foreign delegations in Islamabad.

According to the advisory, the Red Zone and its surrounding areas have been closed to all kinds of traffic, except for official vehicles. Authorities said the restrictions were put in place to ensure security during the visits.

Citizens have been urged to avoid unnecessary travel towards the Red Zone and adjoining areas to prevent inconvenience.

The traffic police said its personnel were deployed on roads to assist commuters and provide guidance. Residents were also requested to show patience and cooperate with officials during this period.

Authorities added that the public could obtain further updates through the traffic police’s WhatsApp channel and social media platforms.
