Karachi likely to receive more rain tomorrow, forecasts PMD

KARACHI: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted partly cloudy weather and light rain/drizzle for Tuesday.
The synoptic situation indicates the influence of a westerly wave over the upper parts of Pakistan, expected to persist in the next 24 hours. Consequently,
Monday night and Tuesday are anticipated to be predominantly cool and dry across most districts in the province.
The minimum temperature in Karachi was recorded at 17°C, with a morning relative humidity of 80%. Monday evening/night is expected to bring partly cloudy conditions to Karachi and its surroundings. Tuesday may see mild rain or drizzle in the city and nearby areas.
Isolated instances of fog are likely in Sukkur, Larkana, Jacobabad, and Mohenjodharo during morning and night hours. Karachi's minimum temperatures are projected to range between 17-19 degrees Celsius on both Tuesday and Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the last 24 hours witnessed cloudy weather with rainfall in Karachi and Hyderabad.
The recorded rainfall (mm) in various areas of Karachi includes Saadi Town 13, Nazimabad, Orangi 13, Gulshan-e-Hadeed 12, University Road, MOS 09, North Karachi, Surjani Town 07, Jinnah Terminal, Faisal Base, DHA Phase II, Kemari 06, Quaidabad, Malir Halt 05, Gulshan Maymar 03, and Masroor Base 02. In Hyderabad, 01 mm of rainfall was reported.
