The city is expected to experience extremely hot and humid weather today, with temperatures ranging between 38°C and 40°C, according to meteorologist Jawad Memon.
Due to high humidity, the heat index may feel above 43°C. Post-monsoon conditions, coupled with a strong low-pressure system, have disrupted sea breezes in Karachi.
Memon added that thunderclouds may develop in the city’s outskirts today, while light rain is possible in parts of Karachi on September 30.

Currently, a marked low-pressure system is present over Gujarat, India, which could intensify into a depression.
Under its influence, sea breezes over Karachi remain cut off, with a chance of the system moving into the Arabian Sea.
