Pakistani Defence Minister Khawaja Asif on Wednesday stated that Marka-e-Haq had shown that any upcoming attack will result in retaliation, which will be even more severe and decisive, according to Radio Pakistan.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced on May 13, 2025, that May 10 would be marked as Youm-e-Marka-e-Haq every year to remember the "spectacular success" of Operation Bunyanum Marsoos and show unity.

Addressing a video statement, the defense minister asserted that Pakistan’s Army, Navy, and Air Force have retaliation capabilities that are swift and well-coordinated in comparison to those of the enemy.

The defense minister asserted that the whole nation is united with the armed forces and supports them like a steel wall.

Asif stated that the insight and capability of young Pakistani people are Pakistan’s real power and that they know how to defend their homeland.

At the launching ceremony of a picture book titled The Battle of Truth (Marka-e-Haq) published by MoIB in association with the ISPR, he stated on Tuesday that all of Pakistan was united against any attack by the enemy.

He said Pakistan had emerged as a more stable and powerful country and had become a symbol of stability in the region. “We are ready for any kind of Indian proxy war,” he added.
