Monthly expenses of Imran Khan, Bushra Bibi in Adiala Jail rise to Rs700,000

A recent report revealed that the monthly expenses of former prime minister Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi, who are incarcerated in Rawalpindi's Adiala Jail, have increased.

Their combined expenses for food and other necessities have now reached Rs700,000 per month.

According to sources, Imran Khan's monthly jail expenses previously ranged between Rs400,000 and Rs500,000. However, with the arrival of his wife, Bushra Bibi, in prison, these costs have increased by Rs200,000.

Imran Khan's family is covering all expenses, including food. The PTI founder personally decides the menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, while servants prepare Khan and  and Bushra Bibi's meals in a separate kitchen.

For breakfast, Imran Khan prefers fresh juices and fruits, drinks coffee three times a day, and ensures the nutritional value of his meals before consuming them.

He also includes pink salmon and desi chicken stew in his diet.

Additionally, both Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi have a manual account in the prison. Imran Khan's family regularly deposits money into the account and is notified when the balance runs low.
