The prime suspect in the Mustafa Amir murder case, Armaghan Qureshi, is reportedly receiving support from influential figures linked to a political party.

According to Pakistan’s leading Urdu newspaper Jang, discussions regarding the Mustafa Amir murder case are taking place within influential circles, raising concerns about possible interference in the legal proceedings.

The police investigation, legal proceedings, and Armaghan’s criminal history have led to questions about whether justice will be served fairly in the case.

Mustafa’s murder is believed to be just the tip of the iceberg, as Armaghan has allegedly been involved in multiple serious crimes, including the brutal torture of a young woman.

Investigations revealed that before inviting Mustafa Amir to his home, Armaghan had called a girl to his residence and assaulted her so severely that she was hospitalised with serious injuries.

Shockingly, despite police being aware of the incident, no case was registered against Armaghan while the victim received treatment at a hospital in Karachi's Defense area.

Armaghan has been named in multiple serious criminal cases, including assault and drug-related offenses. However, despite several FIRs being lodged against him for fighting, embezzlement, and drug trafficking, none of the cases have reached a conclusion.

Additional alarming details have emerged regarding the police raid at Armaghan’s residence.

As per the report, that the accused single-handedly fired at law enforcement for four hours, injuring a DSP and other officials. However, the police failed to arrest him until he had managed to delete crucial data from his laptop and a third iPhone, which authorities have yet to recover.

Questions remain about who prevented the police from entering the house for four hours and why Armaghan’s father exhibited an aggressive attitude despite his son being implicated in serious criminal offenses.

The newspaper quoted an unnamed official stating that Armaghan, 29, has a close associate who is 33 years old and the younger son of a senior leader of a political party.

According to the official, Armaghan’s friend, his father, and the party’s top leadership are highly influential in this case.

This alleged backing is reportedly the reason Armaghan continues to receive special treatment and freely dictates his statements according to instructions given to him.
