The National Assembly of Pakistan unanimously passed a resolution condemning ongoing Israeli aggression in Gaza and expressing unwavering solidarity with the Palestinian people.
Presented by Federal Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar, the resolution urged the United Nations to take immediate action to stop Israeli hostilities and assist in the reconstruction of war-ravaged Gaza.
Lawmakers from across all parties participated in the session, strongly denouncing Israel’s actions and reaffirming support for the Palestinian cause.
The resolution declared: “This House demands that the brutalities being committed by Israeli forces be immediately stopped… The House salutes the 60,000 Palestinian martyrs and condemns continued bombings even after a ceasefire. Israeli aggression is a failure of the international community.”
The assembly also demanded the immediate withdrawal of Israeli forces from all occupied Palestinian territories.
Minister Tarar reiterated that Pakistan’s stance on Israel aligns with the vision of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, who firmly opposed the establishment of a Zionist state.

He said the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, citing over 65,000 deaths and 100,000 injuries, mostly among civilians including women, children, and the elderly.
Tarar noted that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has continuously raised the issue at global forums, and emphasized the urgency of global intervention.
Drawing parallels with Indian-occupied Kashmir, he underscored that both crises must be resolved in line with UN resolutions.
“Whether it’s Palestine or Kashmir, voices of self-determination cannot be silenced through violence — only dialogue can lead to peace,” Tarar concluded.
