A Lahore judicial magistrate on Wednesday granted a two-day extension in the physical remand of YouTuber Saadur Rehman, better known as Ducky Bhai, in connection with a case pertaining to the promotion of illegal online gambling applications.
The court directed the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) to complete its probe against the social media personality. The defence lawyer contended that he did not oppose the request for an extension in his client's physical remand and wanted the agency to complete its investigation.
Ducky Bhai was taken into custody on August 17 at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport.
Officials alleged that he promoted gambling and betting platforms, including Binomo, 1xBet, Bet365, and B9 Game, on his YouTube channel. He is also accused of serving as a “country manager” for at least one of these applications and of receiving financial compensation for his involvement.

According to case documents, the proceedings stem from an inquiry initiated on June 13 on the basis of “reliable source” information that certain YouTubers and social media influencers were promoting betting and gambling apps to the public for monetary gain.
Wednesday’s order came after the expiry of Rehman’s initial two-day remand, which had been approved during a hearing on Monday.
At that time, Judicial Magistrate Muhammad Naeem Wattoo accepted the NCCIA’s request for additional custody, citing the agency’s need to finalise its investigation and carry out a forensic analysis of the electronic devices seized from the accused.
