Officials said that 13,280 pilgrims are currently in Medina, while 26,679 are staying in Mecca.

Over the next 15 days, a further 78,875 pilgrims are expected to be transported to Saudi Arabia.

Under the private Hajj scheme, 6,673 Pakistani pilgrims have also reached the kingdom.

In addition, 949 support staff members and medical personnel have arrived in Saudi Arabia to assist pilgrims during the Hajj season.

Authorities have further established lost-and-found services, wheelchair desks, and a dedicated media cell.
