The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has firmly rejected false and misleading claims aired by Indian news channels, which alleged that Pakistan was preparing to send 20,000 troops to Gaza under the supervision of Western countries and Israel, and had removed the clause from its passport declaring it “not valid for travel to Israel.”
In an official statement, the ministry dismissed the report as baseless propaganda aimed at spreading misinformation about Pakistan’s foreign and defense policies.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, no such plans or discussions have taken place, and the clause restricting travel to Israel remains unchanged. The Directorate General of Immigration and Passports confirmed that every Pakistani passport still bears the statement: “This passport is valid for all countries of the world except Israel.”

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting reaffirmed that Pakistan’s position on Israel is “clear, consistent, and principled.” “Pakistan has neither recognised Israel nor is any form of military cooperation under consideration,” the ministry said.
The statement reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering support for the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination and condemned attempts to distort this stance through fabricated news.
Officials also pointed out that Republic TV’s claims were not reported or verified by any credible regional or international media outlet, further exposing them as deliberate misinformation.
The ministry criticised the Indian media’s continued attempts to malign Pakistan, saying that spreading false and toxic propaganda has become a trademark of the so-called “Godi media” in India.
