PAF's JF-17 Thunder steals the spotlight at Dubai Airshow 2025

The Dubai Airshow 2025 began on Monday at Al Maktoum International Airport, marking the start of one of the Middle East’s biggest aviation and defence showcases.

Industry leaders, military officials and experts from across the globe gathered for the event.

Above the airfield, aerobatic teams kept the crowd engaged with colourful aerial routines.

Fighter jets and commercial aircraft performed sharp turns, tight formations and other precision moves throughout the first day, drawing spectators to the runway and viewing platforms.

Among the main draws was Pakistan’s JF-17 Thunder. The fighter jet captured interest with its manoeuvrability during the flying demonstrations and later pulled in large numbers of visitors at its static display.
