The Pakistan Navy deployed its warships to key locations as a precautionary measure to counter potential attacks from India and safeguard national security, demonstrating the country's readiness to defend its maritime borders.

In a statement, the Pakistan Navy said it is fully prepared to confront any misadventure by India. Indian aircraft carriers and ships are being continuously monitored.

The deployment of ships was made in response to escalating Indian aggression. However, considering India’s current capabilities, it is unlikely to have any significant impact. On the contrary, the Indian Navy’s assets may become attractive targets for Pakistan.

A British newspaper quoted a spokesperson for the Pakistan Navy, confirming the deployment of warships near Pakistan’s sea boundaries. The spokesperson stated this move was taken in response to false Indian propaganda, including the baseless claim made last night that the port of Karachi had been attacked.

The spokesperson further noted that the claimed missile ranges are misleading and reaffirmed that the Pakistan Navy is prepared to counter any hostile action from the enemy.

Reinforcing the country's commitment to defence, the official added that if the Indian Navy approaches Pakistan with hostile intent, it will be sunk in the Arabian Sea.

Earlier, the British newspaper The Telegraph reported that India had sent warships equipped with supersonic cruise missiles toward Pakistan, allegedly to target the port of Karachi.

According to the report, Indian warships—including aircraft carriers, destroyers, frigates, and anti-submarine vessels—were moved toward Pakistan’s maritime boundaries and were positioned about 300 to 400 nautical miles from the Pakistani coast. Some of these vessels are reportedly equipped with Russian-made BrahMos missiles.

The spokesperson for the Pakistan Navy stated that just as the Pakistan Air Force has been surrounding the enemy on all sides, the naval forces, like other key military forces, are also fully prepared to demonstrate their capabilities.

Security sources confirmed that no Indian Navy ship is currently close enough to pose a direct threat to Pakistan. All cities and shipping lanes remain safe.
