Pakistan on Wednesday strongly condemned the latest attacks by Israeli forces in Gaza, which have reportedly caused civilian casualties, calling them a violation of international law and the recently concluded peace agreement.
In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad said that the renewed strikes by Israeli occupation forces “constitute a clear and flagrant violation of international law” and risk derailing international efforts to secure lasting peace and stability in the region.

Pakistan urged the international community to take immediate steps to stop ceasefire violations by Israel and to ensure the protection of civilians in Gaza.
Reaffirming its long-standing position on the Palestinian issue, the Foreign Office reiterated Pakistan’s support for “an independent, sovereign, viable, and contiguous State of Palestine, based on pre-June 1967 borders, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.”
