Pakistan Army’s 9th PATS competition ends with 19 Nations at Kharian

The 9th International Pakistan Army Team Spirit Competition concluded in Kharian. The PATS featured participation from 19 countries in a demanding multinational military exercise.
According to the ISPR, the 60-hour patrolling and tactical exercise was aimed at enhancing professional military skills through the exchange of innovative ideas, tactical experiences, and best practices among participating teams.
The closing ceremony was attended by COAS & CDF Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir. He also presented awards to outstanding participants.
Addressing the gathering, Field Marshal Munir commended the professionalism, physical and mental endurance, and operational competence displayed by all teams during the exercise.
Furthermore, he claimed the Pakistan Army’s core values of “character, courage, and competence” have been consistently demonstrated by Pakistani soldiers, particularly in the ongoing fight against terrorism.
Among the participating countries were Bahrain, Bangladesh, Belarus, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Maldives, Morocco, Nepal, Qatar, Sri Lanka, Turkiye, the United States, and Uzbekistan, while Indonesia, Myanmar, and Thailand came as observers.
PATS continue to strengthen military-to-military cooperation in a challenging operational environment.
At the conclusion of the event, the COAS & CDF also visited the National Counter Terrorism Centre in Pabbi. He witnessed various training activities, including the newly established tactical simulator, and emphasized its importance in making traditional training methods more efficient.
