Eidul Fitr is being celebrated across Pakistan on Wednesday (today), with traditional zeal and fervour, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
Congregations were held in open spaces, mosques, and Eidgah's early in the day across the country.
Special prayers were offered for the progress and prosperity of the country and the welfare of the Muslim Ummah.
In the Federal capital, the main Eid congregation was held at the Faisal Mosque where government high officials and envoys of Muslim countries offered Eid prayers.
The day began with a 21 gun-salute in megalopolis Karachi. The main congregation was held at Gulshan-e-Jinnah (the old Polo Ground).
Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Turkey, and Qatar, along with the rest of the Muslim world, are also celebrating Eidul Fitr today.
