A prominent think tank, the Muslim Institute, organised a flash mob in Jhang to honor the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) for its fearless defense of the country during the recent military conflict with India. The event also served to express gratitude to Azerbaijan, China, Turkiye, UAE, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia for their unwavering support during this challenging time.

Hundreds of people participated in the flash mob, which featured a large replica of an aircraft, symbolising the PAF’s J-10C fighter jet, credited with downing India’s Rafale jets. A flash mob bearing messages such as “Thank you Azerbaijan, China, Turkey, UAE, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia” were prominently displayed.

The Embassy of Azerbaijan in Islamabad praised the initiative and shared images of the flash mob on its official X account.

Participants at the event chanted slogans in support of Pakistan and its armed forces.

It is pertinent to note that China, Turkiye, and Azerbaijan openly expressed support for Pakistan following India’s cross-border missile attacks, which resulted in civilian casualties.

Meanwhile, Gulf countries including Saudi Arabia, Iran, the UAE, and Qatar not only worked to de-escalate tensions but also reaffirmed their diplomatic and moral backing for Pakistan.

During the conflict, India faced major international embarrassment, both on the battlefield and at the diplomatic level. No country openly supported India, except Israel, which issued a statement of solidarity but took no practical steps.

Russia remained neutral, while the United States intervened to broker a ceasefire, offering a trade-based incentive package to both nations without endorsing India's aggressive stance.
